Nemaha County is located in the northeast part of Kansas and was organized on August 25, 1885 Primarily a rural area, the economic base for Nemaha County is agricultural, manufacturing and industry. Population of Nemaha County is 10,458. County seat is Seneca, Kansas. Nemaha County is bordered by Marshall, Brown and Pottawatomie Counties and north border covers Richardson and Pawnee Counties in Nebraska.
